Kestrel is made and operated by FlightDeck Aptitude Ltd, a company registered in Scotland. These terms are between FlightDeck Aptitude Ltd and the parent or carer who creates the account.

Kestrel is independent online practice for children preparing for 11+ and independent-school entrance tests. It offers original timed practice in maths, English, verbal reasoning and non-verbal reasoning, a daily plan, mock exams and progress reports. It does not sell, host or reproduce any exam board's or school's tests.

Kestrel is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to GL Assessment, ISEB, any other exam board, any local authority, consortium or school. Names of tests or schools may appear on guide pages only to describe publicly available information. Trademarks belong to their owners.

Every question, passage, diagram and explanation on Kestrel is original. We do not copy questions, layouts or scoring from published papers or other providers.

Scores, subject breakdowns and mock reports describe performance on Kestrel practice. They are not standardised scores, predictions of a real exam result or comparisons with other children.

Regular practice can build familiarity, speed and confidence. We do not guarantee any test result, school place or admission outcome. Schools and local authorities set their own tests and criteria and may change them.

Accounts are for parents and carers aged 18 or over. A parent can add up to three child profiles. Children do not create accounts or give an email address. The parent is responsible for keeping sign-in details secure and for how the account is used.

Term Pass (£39, 3 months) and Exam Year Pass (£99, 12 months) are one-off payments with no automatic renewal, covering one child. An extra child (£20) is added to the current pass until it ends. A Mock Exam Day (£12) gives one full mock exam and can be bought with or without a pass. Access starts when payment is confirmed. A new pass cannot be bought while another pass is active. Saved results stay in the account after a pass ends.

Guide pages give general information about the 11+ from public sources, with the date they were checked. Admissions arrangements change; always confirm details with the school or local authority.

We may update these terms. Material changes will be shown on this page with a new date. For questions, use the contact page.

These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live. The contracting entity and operator is FlightDeck Aptitude Ltd (company number SC904044). Registered-office and contact details are listed on this page.
