Calm, honest 11+ practice at a fair price.
Kestrel is made by FlightDeck Aptitude Ltd. We write original practice, explain every answer and never promise results we cannot control.
Why we built Kestrel.
Preparing for the 11+ can take over family life. Parents juggle workbooks, websites and tutors, and still find it hard to tell what is working.
Kestrel aims to make preparation calmer: a short plan each day, practice in all four subjects with every answer explained, mock exams when the time is right, and reports a parent can read in a minute.
Kestrel is operated by FlightDeck Aptitude Ltd, which builds timed practice software. Kestrel is made by FlightDeck Aptitude Ltd.
What we promise.
Original questions, explained
Every question is written for Kestrel, and every answer comes with the method and the common mistake to watch for.
A clear next step every day
The daily plan picks what to practise from your child's own results, so short sessions go where they help most.
Honest about what practice can do
We report how practice is going. We never predict exam results, rank children against each other or promise a place.
